A significant milestone for Oton and the Province of Iloilo as the newly completed Oton Abattoir was officially turned over and inaugurated today.
The ceremony began with a solemn blessing by Fr. Elmo Montaño, followed by a ribbon cutting and formal turnover rites.
Oton Mayor Hon. Sofronio L. Fuson Jr. warmly welcomed the guests and expressed his sincere gratitude, on behalf of the Municipality of Oton, to the Provincial Government of Iloilo for its continued support to local development.
Among the key guests were Iloilo Governor Hon. Arthur R. Defensor, Jr.and Vice Governor Nathalie Ann F. Debuque, who all shared messages highlighting the importance of modernizing local infrastructure and supporting agriculture and market operations.
