The Municipality of Oton successfully conducted the Selection of Civil Society Organization (CSO) Representatives to the Local Special Bodies (LSBs), reinforcing people’s participation in local governance.

The program opened with a welcome message delivered by Ma. Diadema T. Vigo, Executive Assistant IV and OIC Administrator, on behalf of Mayor Sofronio L. Fusin Jr. This was followed by the introduction of participants and a comprehensive discussion led by LGOO VI Mary Jo Z. Sornito, MLGOO, DILG-Oton, on the composition of the MPOC, LHB, LSB, and LDC, including the highlights of DILG Memorandum Circular 2025-060.

The activity was further facilitated by Ma. Ami R. Rodrigo, MPDC & CSO Desk Officer, together with LGOO VI Mary Jo Z. Sornito, ensuring an inclusive and transparent process that strengthens participatory governance in the Municipality of Oton.
