In celebration of the 47th National Disability Rights Week, Mr. Vicente Silla, Administrative Assistant V, represented Mayor Sofronio L. Fusin Jr. and delivered a message reaffirming the Municipal Government’s strong support for persons with disabilities (PWDs).

The address underscored the importance of upholding the rights of PWDs in line with Republic Act No. 7277 (Magna Carta for Disabled Persons), as amended by RA 9442, RA 10524, and Batas Pambansa Blg. 344 (Accessibility Law). It also emphasized Oton LGU’s commitment to building a more inclusive, accessible, and equitable community—a key component of Mayor Fusin’s governance agenda.
