𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐨 𝐋. 𝐅𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧, 𝐉𝐫. and 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐢𝐥 𝐏. 𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬 bring hope as they distributed family food packs to barangays devastated by Typhoon Kristine last October 2024, ensuring the affected residents received vital aid to support their recovery and rebuilding.

In the aftermath of Typhoon Kristine, which struck in October 2024, Mayor Sofronio L. Fusin, Jr. and Vice Mayor Jose Neil P. Olivares took decisive action to support the affected residents of Oton, Western Visayas. Demonstrating their unwavering commitment to the welfare of their constituents, the local executives distributed family food packs to the barangays hardest hit by the typhoon.

The distribution effort was meticulously organized by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) under the leadership of Ms. Anna Marie S. Delgado. Her team ensured that the mobilization of goods reached the intended recipients efficiently. SB Member Hon. Jimmy Olivares also played a crucial role in assisting with the distribution process.
