The long wait is over. Today, the Municipality of Oton will have a first-class facility that will enhance its emergency response initiatives,” Mayor Sofronio L. Fusin, Jr. said during the inauguration and turnover of the Oton Command Center held earlier today.

The Command Center is a consolidated facility that will serve as a sub-station for the Oton Municipal Police Station, the Oton Bureau of Fire Protection, and the Oton Search and Rescue Team. Due to its strategic location, the facility will play an important role in the municipality’s crime prevention and emergency response capability. Moreover, the project is a priority of the Fusin-Olivares Administration due to its projected high impact benefits and importance.

Gracing the event are Vice Mayor Jose Neil P. Olivares, Sangguniang Bayan of Oton Members, and all department heads of the Local Government Unit. The dedication and blessing rites were performed by Pastor Wilfredo Nepunan and Reverend Father Renato Cuadras respectively.
