Mayor Sofronio L. Fusin, Jr., Vice Mayor Jose Neil P. Olivares, and Municipal Administrator Eusebio “Boy” Villavicencio, Jr. spearheaded the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program Orientation. The event was held at the Oton Gymnasium earlier today.

The TUPAD Program is a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed, and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days, but not to exceed a maximum of 30 days, depending on the nature of the work to be performed.

The orientation aimed to educate the participants about the program’s objectives, benefits, and the responsibilities of the beneficiaries. It served as a platform for the attendees to clarify their doubts and understand the program better.

Mayor Fusin, Vice Mayor Olivares, and Municipal Administrator Villavicencio took an active part in the orientation, addressing the attendees, and providing valuable insights into the program. They emphasized the importance of the program in providing temporary employment and encouraged the participants to make the most of the opportunity.

The event was a success, with a large number of attendees benefiting from the orientation. The leaders’ proactive involvement in the program demonstrated their commitment to improving the lives of disadvantaged and displaced workers in the community.

The TUPAD Program Orientation is a step forward in the administration’s efforts to provide support and opportunities for the workforce. It symbolizes the administration’s dedication to workforce development and its commitment to uplift the lives of the community members. The event concluded on a positive note, with renewed hope and enthusiasm among the attendees.
