Oton, IloiloThe Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) conducted a monitoring visit for the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program on June 26, 2024, at Plaza Oton. This initiative underscores DOLE’s commitment to ensuring the effective implementation and impact of the TUPAD program in providing short-term employment opportunities to the disadvantaged and displaced workers of Oton.

The TUPAD program provides emergency employment and livelihood assistance to workers affected by various crises, such as natural disasters or economic challenges. By monitoring beneficiaries during their assignments, the local government ensures that the program’s objectives are met.
