Mayor Sofronio L. Fusin, Jr., alongside DSWD Social Welfare Officer II Ms. Marien Grace T. Tamonan, presented a Posthumous Plaque of Recognition and a P100,000 cash gift to the relatives of Ginang 𝐈𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐀. 𝐍𝐢𝐨𝐠 of Brgy. Cagbang, in honor of her century of contributions to nation-building.

Ms. Anna Marie Delgado, the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO), witnessed the handover.

The distribution is in line with R.A. 11982, an act granting benefits to Filipino octogenarians and nonagenarians, amending Republic Act No. 10868, also known as the “Centenarians Act of 2016,” and appropriating funds for this purpose.
