The Local Government Unit of Oton proudly joins and supports the Oton Women’s Association Inc. (OWAI/KALIPI) in celebration of the 2025 National Women’s Month.

Throughout history, the women of Oton have been pillars of strength, resilience, and inspiration. From leading in their communities to making lasting impacts in agriculture, education, healthcare, and entrepreneurship, Ogtonganon women have continually demonstrated that they are indispensable forces in building a stronger and more inclusive society.
This National Women’s Month, the LGU of Oton reaffirms its support for the programs and initiatives that uplift women’s voices and celebrate their achievements. OWAI/KALIPI has been at the forefront of creating opportunities for women in the municipality, promoting gender equality, and providing resources that enhance the welfare and growth of women. Their active engagement ensures that women’s contributions are not just acknowledged but nurtured and amplified.
The theme of this year’s celebration focuses on empowering women to achieve even greater heights. Various activities are lined up, including skills training workshops, health and wellness seminars, forums on women’s rights, and cultural showcases that highlight the artistry and heritage of Ogtonganon women.
As we celebrate this special month, let us continue to honor the women of Oton for their indispensable roles in shaping families, communities, and the future. Together, we stand united in advocating for a world that values and champions the remarkable contributions of all women.
