The Local Government of Oton, Iloilo proudly recognized its Top Performing, Most Promising, and Most Improved Barangays for their dedication and achievements during the second part of the KP Summit.

The Top 10 Performing Barangays each received a ₱5,000 incentive, while the Most Promising Barangays were awarded ₱2,000 each. The Most Improved Barangays also received certificates of recognition for their continued efforts to improve governance and community service.

The awards were presented by MLGOO LGOO VI Ms. Mary Jo Z. Sornito, Ms. Ma. Diadema T. Vigo, Executive Assistant & OIC – Office of the Municipal Administrator, and Hon. Paul M. Buenafe, Liga ng Mga Barangay President, Oton.

In line with this celebration of excellence, KP Manuals/Handbooks were distributed to all barangays to further strengthen local governance initiatives.
