IIn a significant step towards enhanced facilities and better community service, the groundbreaking ceremony for the New Oton Public Market was held successfully today, May 8, 2024.

The momentous event was led by Mayor Sofronio L. Fusin, Jr. and Vice Mayor Jose Neil P. Olivares, with the Sangguniang Bayan Members, the Liga ng mga Barangay, headed by Hon. Paul Buenafe. and SK Federation President Hon. Hyacinth C. Gardose.

The construction is one of the priority projects initiated by the Fusin-Olivares Administration to fuel the local economy and provide Ogtonganons with better infrastructure.

“𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐱𝐞𝐬 𝐠𝐨” ,Mayor Fusin said during his speech, highlighting the importance of a new market to provide a convenient and better trading venue for the public. “𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐠𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐬𝐚 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐤𝐚𝐠 𝐬𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐠𝐛𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐥”, he further stressed.

He also expressed his gratitude to Vice Mayor Olivares, emphasizing their partnership in implementing programs aimed at improving the quality of life of the Ogtonganons.
