In a proactive move to address the rising cases of dengue and improve school accessibility, Hon. Mayor Sofronio L. Fusin Jr., along with Senior Administrative Assistant III Vicente E. Silla and MDRRMO Head Malvin Nad, visited Oton National High School (ONHS) to deliver vital health and infrastructure support.

The team turned over a misting machine and misting chemicals to the school, which will be used for anti-dengue operations within the campus. The initiative is part of the local government’s intensified campaign to curb the spread of dengue, especially in high-risk public spaces like schools.

In addition to the health equipment, Mayor Fusin also facilitated the delivery of two dump trucks of gravel to ONHS. The materials will be used to fill and level a swampy alley near the school, helping create a safer and more accessible pathway for students, teachers, and visitors.
