On July 5, 2025, at around 6:00 AM, Hon. Mayor Sofronio L. Fusin Jr., alongside Private Secretary III Vicente E. Silla, convened an urgent conference to address preparations for the approaching low-pressure area.

During the meeting, local officials were reminded of their assigned duties and the importance of a coordinated response to ensure public safety in the face of possible calamities.

Demonstrating hands-on leadership, Mayor Fusin also personally assisted in setting up temporary tents for tricycle drivers, reinforcing his commitment to community welfare and responsive governance.
