The Municipality of Oton conducts a 3-day Workshop on the the formulation of the Coastal Resource Management Plan spearheaded by the MENRO and MACO. The workshop is facilitated by BFAR and the Provincial Agriculture Office. This is participated by all coastal barangays in the municipality of Oton, Bantay Dagat, MFARMC, fisherfolks, LGU Department Heads and stakeholders from national agencies and academe like Coastguard, DENR CENRO and UP Visayas. Dr. Jobert Toledo an expert from SEAFDEC and an Ogtonganon also shared his expertise.

This workshop aims to come up with a well-crafted plan, through the participation of the different stakeholders geared towards the achievement of an ecologically balanced municipality.
